Runewords vary on their suitability for different classes and specs, as well as utility for the various Mercenaries. This may cause you to want to reroll Insight if you happen to get a bad roll on the Meditation level. When you're running a mana-hungry build, it's a significant difference. At level 12, Meditation increases mana regeneration by 575% with a radius of 22 yards at level 17, it's up 700% with a radius of 28.6 yards. Meditation increases mana regeneration, which goes up by 25% per level and increases the radius of the effect by 1.3 yards per level. The only real issue with this Runeword occurs when you get a very low roll on the Meditation aura.
But the Meditation aura is so strong at mid-levels that the small sacrifices are worth it. It shows some of the problems with any compromise, in that it's average but not spectacular at either job. In fact, its other properties show a remarkably good balance between being a caster weapon (for leveling casters) and a melee weapon (for Act II mercenaries).
